Bo Weber grew up on a dairy farm in rural Wisconsin. After graduating high school, Bo started a pop punk band with his neighbor. They self-recorded a full length album, then hit the road to follow Van’s Warped Tour. Strapped with headphones and ipods, Bos sold CDs under the sweltering sun.
Two weeks before Bo left for tour, Bo’s mother passed away from Ovarian Cancer. For better or worse, a lot of life changes have happened since. In 2017, Bo released his debut solo album, ‘Wendy’ — a collection of songs dedicated to his mother. ‘Wendy’ was well received, and earned features on the front page of the newspaper, Pioneer Press (650,000 readers), WCCO Radio, WEAU 13 News and several others. Bo’s 2019 release, “Is It Wrong” landed on Spotify’s Discover Weekly Playlist, earning over 100,000 streams in the first 30 days.
Self-described as sad boy bedroom pop music, Bo’s overall sound could be associated as a mixture of Lauv and Ian Dior.
